AiMHi supports children who have special needs, adults who have developmental disabilities and their families. Through the provision of advocacy, services, supports and education, they foster a community where people are celebrated for their gifts, abilities and contributions.

Alzheimer Society of BC

The Alzheimer Society of BC exists to alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, to promote public awareness and to search for the causes and the cures.

BC Cancer Agency

The BC Cancer Agency (BCCA), an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority, provides a province-wide, population-based cancer control program for the residents of British Columbia and the Yukon. The BCCA is partnered with Northern Health to build the BC Cancer Agency – Centre for the North.

BC Health Coalition

The BC Health Coalition champions the protection and expansion of a universal public health care system. They are a democratic, inclusive and consensus-based network of individuals and organizations that span the province of British Columbia. They strive to encourage activism on health care, raise public awareness, develop constituencies around our campaigns, build unity through campaigns, and solicit participation in BC Health Coalition activities.

BC Housing

BC Housing is an agency of the BC Government that provides a range of housing options for seniors. Key programs include Independent Living BC and Information for Seniors.

BC Institute of Technology School of Health Sciences

BCIT provides education for public health inspectors and environmental health officers. These personnel help in health promotion and disease provention through education, consultations, inspections, and implementing the terms of health legislation. BCIT also offers a number of training programs for allied health professionals.

Canadian Blood Services

Canadian Blood Services is a not-for-profit, charitable organization whose sole mission is to manage the blood and blood products supply for Canadians.

Canadian Cancer Society

A national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for people living with cancer. They invest in outstanding cancer research, provide reliable information on all cancers, deliver community-based support programs and lead cancer prevention initiatives. The Society relies on the generosity of donors, corporate supporters and volunteers to achieve its Mission.

College of New Caledonia

A Prince George-based institution with satellite campuses throughout the Northern Interior. Offers education in the areas of pharmacy, medical transcription, medical lab assistant, care aide, nursing and more.

Diversified Transportation

Operates Northern Health Connections, which is a travel service program for patients needing to travel for out-of-town medical appointments in northern BC and in Vancouver and Kamloops.

Health Council of Canada

Funded by Health Canada, the Health Council operates as an independent nonprofit agency, with members of the corporation being the ministers of health of the participating jurisdictions.

HealthLink BC

Provides easy access to non-emergency health information and services.

Continuing Medical Education

The CME Program is a partnership between the NH Medical Advisory Committee and Northern Health. The program works with Northern physicians to develop and deliver learning opportunities that meet their learning needs to support the care they provide to their patients.

Northern Lights College

A Northeast BC college, headquartered in Dawson Creek.

Northwest Community College

A Northwest BC college, headquartered in Terrace.

Patient Voices Network

The Patient Voices Network creates mechanisms for patients, their families, and other community stakeholders to participate in primary health care changes that will positively affect their lives. The Patient Voices Network brings patients together from around British Columbia to connect, share their experiences, and learn from one another. Learn how you can get involved.

Prince George Council of Seniors

Seniors and volunteers working together to support and enhance the quality of life for all seniros in the community (includes programs such as Falls Prevention, Meals on Wheels, Metis Elders Society, Seniors Info Line, Seniors Outreach Program, Computer Program and tax clinics).

Prince George Hospice Society

Prince George Hospice Society is the best end-of-life care provided with dignity and respect in a warm home-like atmosphere. They have specialized and compassionate staff and volunteers provide palliative and grief support programs and services that meet the individual needs of guests, families, and community.

University of Northern BC

One of Canada's newest universities, based in Prince George, with programs and services offered across Northern British Columbia, including health sciences programs. Carries out a joint effort between UNBC and the University of British Columbia to assist in training new physicians in Northern British Columbia through the Northern Medical Program.
